Did someone say Astrology?

Yes, I’m that person! The one who interrupts a conversation if the topic is Astrology related - or rather relates any pop culture experience to the current planetary transits! I can’t help it, I’ve been fascinated by Astrology since I went down a Google search rabbit hole in 2014.

That day, I bought a rose quartz crystal from a pop-up shop because the label read that it was for the star sign Libra. Being a Libra Sun and loving all things pink (ha!) I remember wondering how a crystal could relate to a star sign. So I googled it - and five hours later I’ve messaged my Mum asking what time I was born, I'm deep into cafe Astrology interpretations of the planets through the signs and I’ve made an account on Lindaland (a popular astrology forum).

I couldn’t believe that every planet was present in my chart. That the moment of our birth is imprinted in the stars above and reflects back who we are. How I wasn’t just a Libra - but rather a Libra Sun , Capricorn Moon, Scorpio Mercury and Venus and so on…

I remember feeling overwhelmed by the vastness of Astrology but inspired and filled with a hunger to learn and understand this unique language of symbols and archetypes. I was training to be an actor at the time, and studying Astrology in parallel, deepened my character studies and my understanding of human nature.

Fast forward to the present and my mind thinks in astrological themes and symbols daily. I can’t remember birthdays but I’ll remember your Sun sign (and possibly your Moon sign too).

I haven’t yet left that rabbit hole that I jumped down in 2014, and don’t plan to any day soon! Maybe you’ll join me sometime and take a deep dive into Astrology too?
